Patriotic Rhetoric During the first decade of the 21st century, following the 911 attacks on the United States, strong language was thrown about to justify immoral acts. Lies were used to justify war, the killing of civilians, and imprisonment, mistreatment and torture on prisons. This series is about the betrayal of ideals.
