He Thought About his Cousin (Details)

(2009)    Digital Collage, non-digital materials (dirt, sand, ash, paint) archival inkjet print      12"H x 18"W

He thought about his cousin who had died only a month before. Having grown up together, under the same roof, they were best friends – like brothers.

His cousin was smart, but not very strong. He was strong and he took pride in his ability to protect and take care of his cousin.

Now, in the fatal instant, as he saw his life fading, he wished his cousin could have been there to hold his hand and to tell him a story.
