I used to think the perfect composition was one in which all areas were perfectly resolved. Then I began to realize that “perfect compositions” were less interesting – that bad compositions were more interesting.

So... good is bad and bad is good?

Kandinsky wrote: “A perfect drawing is one where nothing can be changed without destroying the essential inner life, quite irrespective of whether the drawing conradicts our conception of anatomy, botany, or sciences.”
